Innkeeper's 29th Annual Black & White Fundraiser
Innkeeper's 29th Annual Black and White, Starry, Starry Night welcomes you to the fundraiser of the year for Kelowna General Hospital's JoAnna's House.
Every year, thousands of families from across the interior of British Columbia must travel from their homes in order for a loved one to receive life-saving specialist care at Kelowna General Hospital. For many families wanting to maintain a base at KGH for the period of their loved ones treatment, the lack of affordable short-term accommodation in Kelowna adds significantly to their hardship.
Research shows that patients heal better when surrounded by their loved ones. They get better when together.
“We’re delighted to be continuing the Innkeepers tradition in support of the Kelowna General Hospital Foundation” says Ted Callahan, President and CEO of Argus Properties Ltd. and owner of Hotel Eldorado. “This event is not only one of the social events of the year in Kelowna, it’s also a highlight for our entire team at Argus, as part of our support of KGH and our community as a whole.”
Dana Crichton, Director of Sales & Marketing says, "We are proud to fundraise for this important cause. Our team generously donates their time recognizing that JoeAnna’s House is such a wonderful representation of the spirit of generosity of this community.”
Since its inception in 1989, Innkeeper’s has contributed over $924,000 to advancing patient care in the region.
Join the fundraiser, to build a home away from home, on Saturday November 24th. Each ticket is $225, and all proceeds go to the KGH Foundation.
